Each year, the Queen of the Lakes and two Aquatennial Princesses are chosen to represent the festival and city of Minneapolis all over the state, nation and world. Fifty young women representing communities throughout the state of Minnesota participate in this once-in-a-lifetime program.Alumni

Appearance Requests and InformationDear Community Committee Members: The Aquatennial Ambassador Organization (AAO) greatly values the relationship we have with you and your community! It is because of these long-standing relationships that we would like to attend as many festivals and events as possible. It is essential that I have your festival and event information in advance to set up each Ambassador’s schedule. If you would like the Ambassadors to attend your festival or event, please provide some key information by downloading the “Appearance Request Form” below and returning it to my attention via e-mail or mail. Please send me your information by March 1st, 2010 to get your festival/event on our schedule. Note: changes regarding times and location can be made at a later date, if plans are not yet finalized. Please send me the name and bio of the one volunteer in your community you would like to give the Honorary Commodore Award to no later than one month prior to your event. Bios sent later will not be accepted. Thank you.
