Aquatennial Senior Ambassadors

Minneapolis Aquatennial Senior Alumni Association (MASAA)
MASAA has a long history of celebrating the Minneapolis Aquatennial and volunteerism in the community by supporting the
Minneapolis Aquatennial Senior Ambassadors.
The Senior Ambassadors consist of the Senior Queen, Senior Commodore, Senior Princess and Senior Vice Commodore. These roles complete the Minneapolis Aquatennial Ambassador Crew. Learn more >
Participating in community festivals and other events throughout the Upper Midwest. The Senior Ambassadors represent the Aquatennial by volunteering throughout the Twin Cities, and appearing in local festival parades and coronations.
The Senior Ambassadors are selected to represent the Minneapolis Aquatennial through a selection process that includes interviews and public appearances.
The MASAA is a all Volunteer Public Charity, and is a 501(c)3 organization.

Senior Ambassador Candidate Program
Candidacy for the Senior Ambassador Program takes place each July with the selection process culminating during the Aquatennial Festival Week.
All candidates are invited to join MASAA and the Senior Singers volunteer group.
Candidate Requirements
Candidates must be:

55 years of age or older

Able to attend all events during the Aquatennial Festival "Best Days of Summer" including the Candidate Luncheon, Bowling Fundraiser, Coronation & Dance and other MASAA and AAO produced events.

Senior Ambassadors must be able to commit to frequent appearances throughout the year including MASAA events and community parades and festivals.
Application Guidelines

Candidates may apply multiple times as long as they have not previously served as a Senior Ambassador

Applications must be completed and returned to the MASAA Candidate Selection Committee no later than May 15th
