The Aquatennial Ambassador Organization is a dynamic development organization that inspires young Minnesota women to achieve extraordinary futures by creating opportunities through work with their communities and AAO.
The Aquatennial Ambassadors represent the Minneapolis Aquatennial at nearly 300 community festivals and events throughout North America each year.
Community
Aquatennial Ambassadors visit festivals across North America each year to foster relationships and promote the Aquatennial festival. The Ambassadors also volunteer for other deserving organizations.
Development
The Ambassador Candidate Program provides unique opportunities focused on personal and professional development. Those selected as Ambassadors continue on a year-long public relations internship.
Scholarship
The Queen of the Lakes and Aquatennial Princesses receive educational scholarships in recognition of their year of service. Scholarships are funded by the generous AAO donors and Members.
