This great event celebrates the current Aquatennial Ambassadors and welcomes the Ambassador Candidates from communities across Minnesota.
This is also the first judged event for the Candidates for the 2017 Aquatennial Ambassador Crew. Hosted by the 2015 Aquatennial Ambassador Family.

Meet the 56 Candidates for the 2017 Minneapolis Aquatennial Ambassador Crew and cheer on your hometown's candidate!
Each candidate will introduce herself and share what is important to her and her hometown during this judged event.
Emceed by the 2015 Minneapolis Aquatennial Princesses, Morgan Scheiller and Sonia Berdhal
This a free and public event.

Millenium Hotel Minneapolis
This event celebrates current Aquatennial Commodore, Steve Robertson, and honors all past Aquatennial Commodores for their service to the AAO. The event includes dinner and short program, as well as ample time for socializing.
Expected attendees include the 2016 Aquatennial Ambassadors, International Visiting Dignitaries, the Candidates for the 2017 Aquatennial Ambassador Crew, Aquatennial Ambassador Alumni, AAO Members and more!
The evening will culminate with the announcement of the 2017 Aquatennial Commodore and Captains!
Tickets are $80 per person in advance only Attire is Semi-Formal

The soon-to-be-announced 2017 Aquatennial Commodore has asked to speak to as many AAO Alumni as possible during Aquatennial week. This influential person has committed to aggressively assist the AAO in continued progress and wants to share the specifics with you.
This event is supported by Aquatennial Admirals Ted Zwieg, Mary Niemeyer, Jim Erickson, Joe Johnston, Jim Patterson, Tom LaSalle, Dave Recker, Dave Hutton and Bob Orthey; as well as MASAA President, Bob Clark.
